Has anyone ever been to see a game at Rutledge Stadium in Converse outside of San Antonio?
East Bernard is playing Cotulla there next Friday in a playoff game

Watched some of Judson and Churchill on tv last evening. Looked like a really nice play to play football. Artificial surface and adequate seating for most high school games. Apaches played Hondo there a few years back, but lots of upgrades have been done since then. Oh yes, should be very accessible to teams coming in from the east/southeast.

I worked on it when they did the renovation a few years ago. Very nice stadium!
By the way Wimberley is playing Orange Grove there Saturday at 2:00

Yes, it's a fine facility scoop. Rest of rounds, all venues should be now that we are down to 144 games to be played this week. Of course, you think Altair would be a great place for a playoff, so Rutledge Stadium might seem like AT&T Cowboy's Stadium to you.

They caught hell on that renovation didn't they. Press box alone cost a couple million more than allotted for, project over budget/time. Many upset. But, it's state of the art for sure.

They had a "Construction Manager" instead of a General Contractor! They did not manage very well if at all! The subcontractors ran the job! We just broke even on our contract but other subs were not so fortunate! We were onsite twice as long as we should have been!

That being said it still ended up a nice place to play!

La Grange played there in 2009 in the regional final against Sinton. It is a very nice venue with plenty of room.
