Not yet. Not sure he'll be back really. Regardless, the depth has come through for all the issue's the Dog's has suffered. Call up JV'ers really amazing. That's football. No excuses, Yoakum will be ready.

You right about taking one game at a time. If you start thinking ahead in
playoff that's a recipe for losing. Devine has had success in playoff before

It's good and fun for fan's to think ahead though. It was plotted out from day 1 of the brackets getting filled out. Epic match up next week if all fall's into place this week. Wow!!!:eek: "The Rematch" would be awesome and well attended. I also think Shiner/Refugio would be BIG in this area too. And, likely if Shiner can get past a tough Mason team this Friday. Shiner want's another crack at Refugio, I assure ya.

Thinking about a rematch is different than posting about it. Navarro and Devine are both capable of beating either team . Both to each there own opinion . I just like to post about this weeks game.

Devine has 4RBs that we use. Our O-line is big and our QB can pass if we need to. The two things that hurt us is our own mistakes (turnovers and penalties). I am not saying that we will win State but I do at least think we are better then most people here think.

Carbon copy of us. Ya'll are bigger. I think we are faster. Both kill themselves at times. Should be a great game.

Yes, be nice to play Devine yearly. Quality coaches/programs. Connection is there. Maybe meet in LaVernia/Floresville/dome some Saturday, if the drive is a little far?

Yoakum played Devine in 1995 in playoffs. Yoakum beat them
on a late TD. Devine ran slot T back then. Think that's only time
