Kevin Mathis is still really involved in Gainesville athletics too.. he usually comes to fund raisers, when Gainesville made the playoffs in 2000 he sent turf shoes to the school and he can be found on the sidelines everynow and then..
He was at the Celina game

Keith, I talked to Kevin at the Celina game. He has remained a very humble person and you would never know by looking at him that he plays in the N.F.L. I watched him make that int. in overtime last night, what a play and it won the game too! Way to go Kevin!!!!!
