Two clutch receptions, a twisting diving option play into the endzone with no time left on the clock in the second quarter and an interception make #1 Eric Pittman Pudlugger's Player of the Week. Congratulations Eric you deserve that jersey number, you're #1 this week in my book. :D

It sounds like Erik definitely deserves the recognition! Cuero's sophomore RB Latreal Cooper sounds like he's heading for a bright future, too!

Who else would like to highlight their team's "Player of the Week"?

Gilmer's Defense

They held a good (playoff-bound) Lindale offense to 47 total yards and only allowed 3 first downs in a lop-sided 45-0 win.

Bellville's Player of the Week, in Bellville22's eyes, goes to Anthony Henry, DT. This young man has really stepped up lately. Against Sealy, he was creating all kinds of problems in the backfield all night. Not sure exactly how many tackles/sacks he had, but the young man had a superb night. Congrats Anthony, keep it up.
