I realize it may have been some long lost night, but it's called "Belmeade" just north of Waco....not Bellaire, lol. But I think they are in the Connally ISD. Correct me you Waco wackos if I'm wrong on that account. Be sure to watch your speed when you hit the Belmeade city limits. I always see cops around that area patrolling.

I believe it was WOS that lost to Richmond Foster for their only loss of the season. Actually, WOS lost the very next week as well to Newton in what was considered an upset at the time, and still is considered a game WOS should have won. So they dropped 2 games in back-to-back weeks the last 2 non-district games, I'm pretty sure. At least....that's what Maxpreps shows, so you never know, haha.

I like Lovejoy over The Colony as well, and I think the Leopards will be a surprise in their Region 2, although it will be a tough region. Timberview is a tough out there(or Ennis).

I agree with Abilene Wylie for Region 1 also. And Argyle getting by Kennedale in a close one, then another close one against a game Van team.

In the Princeton/Kaufman game, it will be COLD....which favors a running game. I like Princeton, but look out for the cold being a factor for a passing attack. Van/Paris is also the same kind of set-up with the weather, and Paris has that Mr. Everything qb Quez Allen. He's a beast of a qb, but I still like Van...tough opening round game anyway.

I believe that outstanding rb for Hirschi is Cedric Battle. I predict he gets right at 140 yds. only against Wylie tonite....not nearly enough to make it a close game.

I like LaVernia for Region 4 D-1 also. Burnet looks good and may be the surprise team to win the region, though.

Somehow Bellville(9-1) has managed to be the most under-the-radar team this season in 4A, imo. Have no idea what kind of team they really have, but.....

In class 3A, I'm hoping for a Goliad win in the regional final in Region 4 D-1. I think that team can match up better against the Region 3 winner, and besides....I'ma Goliad Tiger Alumni. Class of '73. :stirpot:: :D
