Which high school playoff game(s) are you heading to watch this week/weekend?

I'm still undecided as to whether I'll make the 450 mile round trip to Canyon
Thursday night for Sweetwater vs. Perryton but if I do then my schedule will
look like this.



Thursday - Sweetwater (10-0) vs. Perryton (7-3) 7:00pm Kimbrough Stadium, Canyon

Friday - Vernon (6-4) vs. Fort Stockton (5-5) 7:30pm Mustang Bowl, Sweetwater

Saturday - Iowa Park (6-4) vs. Midland Greenwood (5-5) 2:00pm Bulldog Stadium, Abilene

Buckeye Stadium Thursday for a 3a dustup between Sabine and Winnsboro. These 2 played earlier in the year with Winnsboro winning in overtime. Should be a good one.

Friday in Hallsville to watch the Buckeyes play Pleasant Grove.

Saturday heading to Quanah for a week of wildlife entertainment. Let the rattleing begin:D

2011 in Brenham. 13-7 My son threw our only TD pass, as a sophomore. 2009 was at A&M Consilodated. Lorena wins 33-29 and goes on to quarterfinal to lose to Carthage 28-21, giving Carthage there tightest margin of their playoff run.

2009 was Lorena's turnaround year, with 7 years of playoff football to follow.

Thanks! It's no Texas football, but it should be entertaining. I wish you guys could see this Lamar offense, and how gimmicky it is - it makes Liberty Hill's Slot-T look pretty standard. They run double-tight, double-wing with two quarterbacks shoulder-to-shoulder in shotgun every snap. They've thrown the ball like 10 times total in the last 3 seasons. It's so bizarre.

By the way... I trained my girls soccer team this week. They were crying like little girls (12-13 y/o little girls) about how cold it was. I fixed that after 15 minutes of running. :D Then they were complaining how hot they were. It's always something with girls. SMH
