I'm not sure how Gilmer was able to sneak in at #48 in DII. From the strength(?) of our schedule, it sure seems like we should be down around #88. :rolleyes:

Not sure. No way your schedule is like Crystal City's. It's bottom half, but not that far down

Port Isabel's strength of schedule down near the bottom. Not surprising truth be told. Then again, there were some teams on PI's schedule that were projected to be GOOD that turned into major disappointments. La Grulla, Rio Grande City, and Hidalgo. All 3 have been huge disappointments so far this season 5A Pharr Valley View has always been a cellar dweller (no clue why they got onto the schedule) and Brownsville St. Joseph is a decent private school, but when they start playing non-Valley teams, they get their butts kicked.

Sinton win Friday puts them in lower bracket with Ingleside as 4th seed, Cuero and Yoakum in the upper bracket with Navarro. Sinton loss still keeps them in the lower bracket as 4th seed and Cuero with 1st seed in lower bracket. That would put Yoakum as 2nd seed and Ingleside as 3rd seed in upper bracket. That's from what I thought was an updated bracket but unless things have changed again.

Yeah, I knew we had a weak schedule. I'm sure the coaches thought a couple of the teams we played before district would be better than they turned out to be. When your district contains teams like Diamond Hill-Jarvis, Castleberry and Lake Worth it sure makes it difficult to get ready for the playoffs. Heck, your starters are barely even playing any football through a good portion of district play. Even Springtown wasn't that strong this year.
