One Boling varsity football player died in a car wreck on Saturday night and his friend is in a Houston Hospital with injuries- Prayers out to the school, family and friends.

The young man was awesome. I had the honor and privilege of coaching him from his 7th grade year through his 10th grade year. Tough, quiet, unassuming. Just a fantastic example of a hard-working, polite, and respectful kid. Its heartbreaking.

Boling ISD is led by some great people and I'm so happy the kids there have them to follow. The administration and coaching staff there will bring these students through this painful process.

God bless this young man, his family, and the entire Boling Community.
