Word. Make them make a play and I would have preferred that ending vs. the P5 ending we got.

I'm not a fan of the Giants, but what Madison Bumgarner accomplished was amazing!

Ditto, P4S--no Bumgarner= no pennant. Would like to have seen Royals win Series, though...

Was rooting for the Royals, but what Bumgarner did might just be the best World Series a pitcher has ever had! Incredible! Can't remember how many total Series innings he has pitched overall but I did here he has a .25 ERA. That's big time!

I wanted the Royals to win also, but hats off to two Texas boys. Hunter Pence form Arlington and Brandon Belt from Nacogdoches.

What did the Stros get for Hunter Pence?

A lot.... Ruben Amaro's worst deal ever as GM of the Phillies.

Houston got:

Jared Cosart, starting pitcher who had a nice start to his career and is a promising young pitcher. He got traded to Miami this trade deadline for a boatload more good young prospects.

Jon Singleton, starting 1b for houston. He struggled average wise in his first ml season but he's got major power. Still just 22 y/o... Houston's supposed to be starting 1b of the future.

Domingo Santana, I think he's still 21. Had a brief stint in the majors this year. Bright upcoming player with big upside.

Plenty of articles talking about how houston made a killing off that trade

Whats even worse is what the Phillies got from San Fran. Those two trades were horrendous for the Phillies and has worked wonders for the Stros and Giants.
