#1 ranked Mart Panthers release running back D'Marcus Cosby from the team today for disciplinary reasons. Cosby had rushed for over 1100 yards on the season. He is the nephew of UT's Quan Cosby.

Wow... must have been pretty bad. They still probably win it all. They have talent most 5A teams envy.

Chatted with Rusty Nail, and he said that it is an indefinite suspension, not a dismissal. Apparently he got in trouble at school and got suspended for at least the next two weeks, but coach Nail said that Cosby is committed to making it right and earning his spot on the team back.

Mart by 40 over Axtell
Mart by 15 over Bosqueville

Of course these spreads would be less if losing their RB was taken
into account which prep's doesn't adjust for.

Their 2nd and 3rd Team RB would be starters on most other teams of that classification.
