Do any your teams that you follow have a long district winning streak going over the past years ?
I know Refugio has won 47 straight and East Bernard has won 26 in a row.

We've only lost two district games since 2000. We were undefeated in district play from '01 into '10. I don't know the exact number, but that's still impressive over 13+ seasons. Undefeated district champs in 11 of the last 13 seasons. Runner-up in the other two.

Don't worry. I'm thinking the Lions' streak ends this week. Maybe, maybe not...

FWIW, we'd be undefeated in your district, too. The UIL had a little mercy on the 4A-D2 district 6, by taking Gilmer out west.
