Anybody got any thoughts on this? I heard a lot of people saying stafford would win. By the look of the statistics, WC controlled the game. If you read the thread, WC got hosed on several iffy calls too and still managed to pull it out.

Definitely their best performance against the best team theyve played as well.

Columbia stayed conservative in the 2nd half & rode Bell hard. Might have worked better if they could stop those drive killing penalties. Shouldn't be happening at this point of the season. Take away that couple of times that scat back managed to get past the line & Stafford offense would have been stuffed most of the night. I don't see how that offense could put 30 on El Campo. They do have some big fast receivers, but our DB's did a good job of staying with them. Columbia should be happy with the defense last night, even with Moody sitting out the game. don't know why he didn't play. Nice performance after that weak effort against Needville last week.

That & 100 yards in penalties. Columbia would walk it down the field on Stafford & end up with 3rd down & long on most of them. Need to cash in those long drives on a more consistently.

I forgot about a fumble in the 1st qtr. Stafford had 2 turnovers.

WC had a fg blocked and turned it over on downs at the Spartan 15.

But, Yeah, that was a huge play.

I don't think the game was quite as close as the score would indicate.

WC left no doubt about who the best team on the field was. Stafford was the beneficiary of multiple penalties and questionable calls and still couldn't hang so meh

Yeah that was a horrible call...there were quite a few during the game.
