VOLLEYBALL: #21 Columbus Cardinals @ #14 Sealy Tigers

Big game Friday Night at the Sealy HS gym. Sealy is undefeated in district going into this game and have a chance to at AT LEAST hold a share of the district championship for the first time in a very long time! Sealy was able to hold off Columbus on the road in 4 games and were able to keep the 2 D1 recruits from controlling the game. Both football teams do not play tomorrow so I expect a full house! If you are anywhere near Sealy tomorrow around 5, make sure to stop by and check out some GREAT volleyball.

this should be one of the best v-ball games in the state Friday night.Two very good teams playing for a district title, but sealy would have to stumble twice for Columbus to have a shot at the title, because Columbus lost to el campo this week.

That's true, good point! Over the past few years Columbus has had their way but Sealy's new coach has instilled something that had boosted the girls, confidence. The team this year is led by a great group of seniors, juniors, and sophomores. It even includes 2 freshman that have played very well. The only team Sealy has struggled with this year is Bellville (2 Losses) which is understandable because Susan Brewer is a volleyball wizard and loves to beat Sealy. LOL
