should be a good game, we've only met something like 6-7 times over the years, last meeting was a Indian win in 2011..think their only win against us was in 2010...guess it really doesnt matter!! its a district game and we need to win it!! one game at a time!
i'll watch some video and have better assessment later on this game:cool:

Haven't seen the Indians yet this season, but it should be a pretty good battle for 2nd place. :D
Springtown has the ability to march down the field when their passing attack is working, but under pressure it can all come apart.
I'll go with Alvarado by 20 just because they seem to have performed better against their tough competition this season.

JW delivering the mail this season, or what?!! Coach B got the wildcats playing strong for sure!
from what iv seen on film of Springtown..tey play hard, and fly to the ball..looks like they will try to hit some homeruns on play action..hopefully we'll slam the door on them

There's a couple of things I remember about Springtown. At the beginning of the game, they used hard counts to draw the defense off sides several times, they kicked an onside kick after their first and only touchdown and recovered, their qb is mobile and throws pretty good and the receivers run good routes. They also have a decent running back. What they didn't have was a defense to catch Kennedale's speed. Please, please, please update after scores during the game and post your comments on this thread. I'm going to the Aledo/Burleson game and bypassing the Castleberry game. I hope ya'll win but be wary of Springtown.

the Indians cant afford not to be wary of anybody..well aware of their oddball snap counts..83Indian does an excellent job with updates on this site

Maybe I should have gone to kennedale.
Aledo scored on an 80 yard pass first play.

Indians could have run the clock out but penalties plagued the Indians. Springtown gets the ball with 2:30 left and impressively marches down the field for the go ahead score. Credit Springtown. Indians need to clean up the penalties and turnovers or Kennedale will embarrass us.

I thought we had it there at the end..but penalties are a deal breaker, got to play smarter in crunch time..if your going to play zone, you have to go play the ball!! Too many times we were watching the receiver catch the ball before reacting.. Otherwise, the D played pretty dang good!! DLine and LBs were strong and covered the gaps well.
Got to keep our heads up and start working on Kennedale.. It's up to the players to keep moving forward and work at getting better and stay focused on the task at hand!
