I'm trying to gather some info here. If someone from Wylie could PM me, I would appreciate it.

I hear they are keeping the basketballs warmed up and ready for some November round-ball.

I don't have to worry about anything. I don't think anything I post on the web will have anything to do with the outcome of the Sville/BS game.

Nope...waiting on Abilene High or Cooper to get lights first. We can't show them up in EVERYTHING! ;)

The three universities have lighted fields and host lots of playoff matchups, but unless something has changed at AHS or CHS in the recent months, then none of the high schools have lighted fields. Xman would blow a gasket around here!!! :p

No high school baseball coach in their right mind would want lights on their field if they have the choice.

Yeah and plus spending $50-100K installing lights like those at Shotwell five years ago would
take away from the funding for the second elevator planned for the pressbox and Bulldog Stadium.

We already have 2 !!! Seriously it has nothing to do with $$. The Booster Club has offered to put in lights for many years. Right now we are doing a $600,000 (all private $$) renovation to the field...... but lights aren't part of it.

Yeah, that's how we got turf for our football field and again when it needed replaced. Nice to have
wealthy "Friends of the program".
