I was thinking the same thing. How could they fall this far? And, they have been down for a while now.

This was once one of the, if not the fiercest rivalries anywhere in the state. It still burns a little deeper than other games for some of us old timers. I'm often amused by the love ins I see that go on between some of the so called rivals on this board. This one is a real rivalry. Wanna congratulate a guy on his grandmas 98th B-Day? You got 51 other weeks to do it. Wanna tell em how nice there new paint job on the water tower is? You got 51 other weeks to do that. Wanna congratulate them on their stadium upgrades? You got those same 51 weeks for that.

This is El Campo - Bay City. This week it's ,,,, Hey GQ sorry to hear your granny fell of the water tower before she got finished. That Black Cat turned out to look more like a Leopard with all those rust spots coming through already. I guess that tight wad mayor of yours wouldn't spring for a little sand paper. I am impressed with the stadium work though. Those 12 new boards really stand out. Who's idea was it to straighten and re use the nails? Your valedictorians? Remember the last time you guys beat the Ricebirds? I didn't think so. This years seniors were in the third grade when that happened. See you at the game GQ. Yea, it's pretty bad. At least it was the last time I went to a game there. Probably 7 or 8 years ago.

I believe the Bird will win but as it’s usually is with this rivalry I expect BC will play their best effort of the year but it won’t be enough. Another thing a bit off subject but it seems we always draw Bport after playing BC when were in District together. And Bport benefits from a bit of a letdown after the adrenaline rush of the intense rivalry if the game. And Bport gives us a rough game Hope the let down doesn’t happen and we can cruise that game to

This game is just not what it used to be. Bay City has been down for a long while. Not real sure why. The Birds have looked pretty good over the last few weeks. That was a huge win last week over a fast, powerful Stafford team.
