The Rangers will hire Pittsburg Pirates bench coach Jeff Banister as their new manger. Don't know much about him. Hoping for the best. I really thought Bogar was the favorite. Shows how much I know. It's going to be odd not seeing ol Ron in the dugout.

From what I've heard, Bogar didn't lose the job. Banister apparently blew JD away in his interview.
