There's a Baylor commit over here in Temple named Chad President that all the bigtime college scouts have been salivating over. I'm pretty sure that Temple team would have no problemo whatsoever staying up with or even possibly outscoring this year's Aledo team. Their only loss came against 6A Austin Westlake in Week 2 49-48. Temple is averaging 50+ points in 6 games so far, giving up an avg. of only 22 when Westlake's 49 pts. are added in. This Central Texas team is a real contender, without a doubt. Supposedly, President has been offered by no less than 20 D1 schools, at least 10 major conference ones. But he wants to go to Baylor and play for Briles. Look him up.

Cool name! Chad President. Is he a QB? Regal, have you had a chance to watch this Temple team? Sounds like it would be good entertainment for sure.

Yep, and yep.....he's the real deal. Gonna be better than RGIII for sure. He's got that "it" factor, too. At 6'3" 200, he's a good size with speed to burn(4.5 in the 40). He missed 8 games last season as junior, but I think Baylor has recruited him as a receiver. Evidently he's good with that....but for now he's all you want for a high school qb and more. But who knows what he'll end up being now that he'll get a full year under his belt at qb for a winning Temple program this year. Remember....he was offered by most colleges after his injury only 4 games into his junior year! Maybe a few before that, but you get the gist of what I'm saying.

Heck, it says here he went down in Week 2 as qb last season for Temple with an ACL against Southlake Carroll. Says he had 850 yds. total offense in just 2 games at that point, and they took State Champ Cedar Hill to the wire in that bi-district loss even without President.

aledo will not win state this year no way. they will run through district but not go far in the playoffs. shoulda coulda woulda. can't wait to hear them cry when they get knocked out.

Oh, I think you'll be hearing em cry allright, at least some of their fanatic fans, lol. Temple lost to Cedar Hill last year 39-35 in bi-district, then dropped down to D1 5A this year. I don't think Aledo will be liking that too much if they even get that far.

And just in case anybody's wondering, here's the way it works: Wherever I end up living come football season, that team ends up winning, haha. And sometimes they win a looong time if I lived there a looong time....case in point Argyle. I was there over 11 yrs. and they're still at their winning ways, and just to make sure I keep going to games every season just to make sure the mojo don't quit. :lies:

Heck, when I moved off from Fred last season in November over to North San Antonio, Brennan was practically out my back door. And lo and behold I thunk I saw them boyz over there in Jerryworld. They just kept winning as soon as I got there, lol.:smoker: Sorry about leaving them Billies too early,(they lost as soon as I left) but at least I did get them thru bidistrict still winning, haha.:D

gilmer does good in pre district then blows it in playoffs most of the time. they get lucky every now and then. this might be their year. they better be glad they didn't go D1. no way they could take the Jackets, no way. discipline would be their problem.

If they went D1(which they missed by about 10 students that day), they'd hafta get by their nemesis Argyle first. But that won't happen till they find 10 more students, lol.

regaleagle
10-15-2014, 10:36 PM
Heck, Argyle would gladly loan them the 10 students just to help them out, but then that'd throw Argyle back into D2....so that won't work either, haha.
