In all my years as a Rocket, since Nineteen Hunnerd and Sevemty Five, I have never heard anyone use NASA when referring to the Rockets. Congrats Cam on a first.

Even though I'm an Old Judson Rocket, and the Rockets are kinda near and dear to me, Don't know much about nothin when it comes to Robinson Rockets. I do know a bit about them nasty Bulldogs. They crap everywhere, smell bad, hike their leg on things you don't want them to, and I hear tell they can play some football too. So, I guess I say Bulldogs by 3.

Rocket defense looked solid, but I also know Burnet O is talented and can move the ball. It will be close, but I still think them stinky Dawgs take this one, probably by more than a field goal.

I understand NASA is senior heavy....that's good for them....but most folks don't realize Burnet is coming off a third round playoff appearance and they did it with a relatively young team...last season left them with a bad taste in their mouth...these boys have set some lofty goals....now, they may not win every district game and for sure there's still plenty of room for improvement, but you can expect to see em' in the playoffs somewhere.....the key will be to avoid the injury bug like it struck them earlier this year.......

Simply because Robinson is our mortal enemy. If you beat Robinson/China Spring you are successful even if your season goes south. My oldest still goes nuts over the Robinson games, football and baseball.

Because my daughter is an 8th grade cheerleader and the 8th grade plays the same night (opposite site) as the Freshman, I have not seen them play and frankly, have not payed much attention.

This game could go either way depending on who will not make mistakes. This is the GOTW for Burnet/Robinson. These two could meet again in playoffs.
If Burnet plays errorless ball they win by 13

At least you only did it once, I drove to Lampasas last Thursday (Jr. High) and Friday..............the only consolation, besides the victory Friday night, was the Storms' burgers.......mmmmm mmmmm GOOD!!!!!!

Let me see.....Robinson's 30 min. up the road from my house in Temple now, and I've pretty much figured Argyle can handle Hutch this week. Soooo....methinks I should be checking this game out this Friday nite under the Robinson lights, huh? I've been wanting to see BOTH teams play, so this will be getting my money's worth in one game. I'm pretty sure the weather is gonna be ideal. Yep, that's what I'm gonna do....go see this game Friday night. I reckon I'll just sit wherever I can get the best seat.

Burnet wins 2 tough road games to start off District 13 4A at 2-0 now 6-1 overall. Burnet also recovered 6 Robinson turnovers. May Robinson finish district strong heading towards playoffs.
@Austin_BTX_15 had 5 TD passes tonight against Robinson @mrJo_el with 3 of those #burnetbulldogs #centexpreps #txhsfb

But seriously, look for Robinson to be in the mix!...They will be a force come playoff time.....They are dangerous with that big back Owens....and QB Davila is as elusive as they comel.....Rockets gotta cut out the turnovers.....but give credit to some hard hitting for that!....

I went to the game and just got back to Temple. The Burnet qb and the Bulldog recievers hit the Rockets secondary hard in the 2nd half and exposed weaknesses. Give it to the Burnet qb for accurate throws, but he had all day and the next to throw it, to be honest. He was sacked several times on the night by the Rockets, but in the 2nd half the game turned in the Bulldogs favor as they capitalized on several turnovers to score on short fields and basically dominated the entire 2nd half on both sides of the ball. The Rockets have more work to do. The junior qb for the Rockets is a good athlete and kept the Rockets in the game repeatedly, but Rockets D just could not stop the passing attack of the Bulldogs.
