Last year game at Sinton, Qb Tyler Handson totaled 459 yards of total offense (194 yards rushing; 265 passing) and a total of 5 touchdowns. Sinton also had 4 drives that ended in red zone with no points in that game. Yoakum rallies in 2nd half from 35-14 to get within a touchdown.

Yoakum qb Tre'vontae Hights had 188 yds rushing with 3 tds and 38 yds passing.

Sinton two losses this year they were winning late into the 3rd qtr against Rockport Fulton and La Vernia both on the road. Yoakum losses have been to a good East Bernard team and very good teams in La Grange and Cuero.

Bulldogs have played some good teams they could win by 21 or lose by 21 just depends on the turnovers .Sinton is always a good fundamental team and will take advantage of any thing that comes there way. Should be a good one. I will pull for the Dawgs in this one as it cant hurt for insurance in the District race.

I was surprised when I voted for Yoakum....thinking I would be in the minority. But when the results showed up after I cast my vote, I can now see that I am not alone in my thinking about Yoakum this season. Even though Yoakum lost to Cuero last week and Sinton won handily, that did not sway the voters. And last year was last year.

funny story - we have several "LADY PIRATE" shirts from when Lil44 was a Jr and Sr (05 and 06) Several of the football players wore the LADY spirit tee shirts on Thursdays lol We have Sinton, Yoakum, Edna, Banquette, Liberty Hill, Midland Ranger, Caldwell oh and even one from Needville. This is the year for Bo's boys. That early loss to La Grange will pay dividends come playoff time. The Bears are shaping into a very disciplined defensive team that just makes stops in critical situations. The O has improved tremendously as the season has progressed. Keep this up, and they'll be a legitimate contender come playoff time.

Physical game with Cuero. There was some very hard hitting
in that game. Hopkins can punish you and he back to 100 percent.
Yoakum needs to find a way to get the ball to "10 more
than 9 touches per game .

Yoakum came out on fire. The QB looks faster and bigger than he did last year. Great player as is that RB. Both have nice speed! Their defense has been getting some pressure on Sinton. Sinton fought back... Stats fairly even right now. One thing I noticed, Yoakum looks to have dressed out maybe 30 kids. They look good though.

Same with us. Might of been a little different P4S. We been banged up for last month, key player out since second scrimmage. We had lost 2 for the year, 2 others (OL, LB/RB) just had surgery, and one should be returning by Jourdanton (last district game). But, all are dealing with injury at this point of season.

9 to 1? You have to really overlook stuff, to only call a team with one booboo throughout a game. That's Corpus chapter for ya. We had some of that too, with another school Corpus chapter home cooks for, Beeville last night. We beat all 16 out there on the field too. Nice win Yoakum. Appears Ykm got the message from Cuero collapse, and run #10 more.

Yes it is hard to do but has been done several times in pro,college ,and highschool. and if those refs were from the Corpus chapter, that was truly amazing because that group is no ally of Sinton for sure.

Unfortunately when Sinton's #40 Owens tweaked his ankle that was costly...they became a one horse team at that point. Even as good as that one horse is...I have to say that holding Handson to 150 yards was a very good job. Huge scare for Yoakum in the 4th Q when Tre'Vantae went down at the goal line with what appeared to be a knee injury. But he came back out and finished the game. Another tough game this week...one game at a time and work on the little things.

Get ready for around 50 rushes by Hopkins this Friday Sinton. Keep him around 200 yards, you have a chance to get back in district race. But, you give up another nearly 500 yards rushing like ya did this past Friday against Yoakum, could be a long night. You'll not have a two-headed rushing monster to contain here at least. All eyes on #20 should be the game plan. He get's outside, gone. You thought Ykm was fast. Gob's can chunk some, but--appears inconsistent.

Get ready for around 50 rushes by Hopkins this Friday Sinton. Keep him around 200 yards, you have a chance to get back in district race. But, you give up another nearly 500 yards rushing like ya did this past Friday against Yoakum, could be a long night. You'll not have a two-headed rushing monster to contain here at least. All eyes on #20 should be the game plan. He get's outside, gone. You thought Ykm was fast. Gob's can chunk some, but--appears inconsistent.

Cohea should be back this week. And Friday should be another nail biter.. Could end up in three way tie for Dist Champ if Sinton Beats Cureo.

I have noticed over the years that if Sinton looses a game the fans don't show up as much until the playoffs. Even to home games..
