The Tarkington Longhorns have not made the football playoffs since the 1950s. Im calling it that this is the year that the streak is going to be broken. Good luck to the boys and coaches out on the prairie. The thundering herd is on a stampede.

The absence from the playoffs must have something to do with being in "Cleveland", the curse that doesn't matter what state it's in...

I say you make the playoffs this year or maybe at next realignment when the UIL proclaims that ALL teams make the playoffs, bar none.

Could be the "Longhorn" curse at this point in time as well.
