What is your confidence meter for your Tigers vs. the O's?

That'll depend on how deep the Tiger's starters go. If Scherzer, Verlander and Price can
pitch 7 or maybe even 8 innings then it's high. If Ausmus is going to the very shaky
bullpen after 6 then we are in trouble.

Well, the latter didn't work out did it? I was rooting for the Pirates
as well but only because I'm a fan of Andrew McCutchen and I hold
a lot of animosity towards the Giants and Pablo Sandoval for the
2012 World Series lol.

No it didn't! Was mainly rooting for Pirates because of your reasons and Clint Hurdle. Now I will stick with the Royals because of the underdog factor.

Yeah, Detroit fans got the shaft by MLB. I bought tickets to the Lions game vs. the Bills which is scheduled
to start at 1 pm EST at Ford Field Sunday and for game 3 of the ALDS at Comerica Park. The time hadn't
been set yet but I figured surely MLB wouldn't cause a schedule conflict. Well, they do. They schedule game
3 of the ALDS for 3:45 pm EST. So, basically we are going to have to leave the Lions game at the end of the
third quarter if we want to see the first pitch of game 3 at Comerica Park which is literally just across the street
from Ford Field.

Yes, but so did the entire bullpen did. Chamberlain, Soria , Coke and how Phil is still on the
roster is beyond me. He has been terrible for years now in Detroit.

But yeah, when this series is over I may be left hating a bunch of former Rangers...
Cruz, Soria and let's not forget Joe Nathan who, if he stays true to form, will blow
at least one save opportunity in this series.

Won't surprise me at all if Nathan blows at least one. He always scared me when he was with Rangers.

I liked the battle between Vargas and Weaver last night. Both were at the top of their games only allowing 3 hits through 7 innings for Weaver and 6 innings for Vargas. But Vargas gave up 2 HR's and Weaver 0.

Royals came to play! Beat those fairies 3-2.
