Maybe we try another downlow gathering someplace in the playoffs? I missed ya at the "Sadler" game in Sinton. Both there, we just got the meeting place confused. Or, I did from Pirate4State. I made the last 5 years straight to the state games, maybe this year, we can really have a good gathering of downlow folks?

I've been at Cowpie stadium the last 2 years, but as we were walking in for the 3A championship games, my 70 year old grandmother tripped and fell and broke a knee cap last year. I spent the entire weekend on a dallas hospital with her instead.

I think I'll be in Colorado for a wedding this year.... My ball and chain is the maid of honor in a wedding and I suppose I have to be there. The one weekend of the year I wanted free...

Haha I'll do something YT...

I'm not totally convinced just yet though...

WC played their first couple games against weak competition and won pretty handily. They played a decent Sweeny team and won a tough one.

This past week, they played another weak Edna team, however, Maleek Goins played his first game of the year and in a very limited role, scored 3 TDs....

I think he's the added dimension WC has been missing and is a shut down corner on D too...

I want to see what they can do against EC. I think we might be able to go to the next level from good to great because of Goins but that's yet to be seen. I'm pretty excited tho
