Who could disagree with this? I think it's self-evident.

Especially now that those boys don't have the distractions which used to be created by the Chicken Ranch.

The Leps could be the best but that has to be proven every Friday night. We just beat a good Yoakum team in their house so La Grange is riding high. However, as we saw last night with WOS losing to a tough little Newton team 17-7 things can go south quickly. Right now we have Smithville at home Friday and the Leps will not go to sleep at the wheel like it was 2008 all over again.

Our coach has been playing the backups every game in the entire 4th quarter and they are starting to really show some grit. Depth is so important late in the season and La Grange should be solid in that department come the playoffs. We lost a very strong back up to our O line to a knee injury last night and hope and pray it is not a serious injury.

LaGrange best in state. Period. You can always tell when you see those special once every 20-30 year teams. I seen them several times on video, and they impress more each game. Faster than East Texas speed at back, yet--can pound with the best of them between the tackles., Size on the lines, with hogs who can float on their feet to get into the proper blocking position. Finally, QUALITY depth. Amazing.

I see the secret of their success. Although La Grange is nowhere near the Piney Woods, someone has planted a pine tree back there behind the end zone. This fools the players into thinking they're from East Texas.

Sounds like a simple chain saw operation for the next opponent at La Grange, haha.

Take a look at this. http://www.texasbob.com/stadium/stadium.php?id=409# Probably why we beat Carthage every time we play them.
