Burnet RB/WR Brock Foster appears to be getting more involved as the season progresses. One of the fastest players on the team. Scored 19 TD's last year on varsity as a sophomore. Nice compliment to the bruising style of Eric Walker.

Burnet's freshman "varsity game flag runners" and other stuff....There were quite a few Taylor fans standing behind the fence on Burnet's visitor side of the field....apparently, one adult fan shouted at the boys that he was "going to take one of them shakers and hit em' upside the head with it!".....that didn't fly too well with our boys...they told an administrator who then told the police who then proceeded to "have a little talk" with this particular fan......The way I look at it, if that fan didn't like the noise, he shoulda taken his arse to the home side of the field where he shoulda been in the first place!.....

As far as I know....no females!....and I ain't about to sneak into them showers at the Bulldog field house just for you bobcat!....besides, if I do that 1st and Goal will accuse me of being a meat gazer again!!:spitlol:....or at least I think it was him!........anyways, I hadn't even noticed that specific detail.....but I reckon it's just a bad impersonation of a camel toe starring Mr. Buttcheeks himself!!!.....and sometimes them new flimsy material football pants just don't crease where they should!!....:doh:....and yes, all this is probably Greendawg's fault!......

Ditto!.Nice shots!...Hey Dawgfan, what ISO and shutter speed do you like to use? My camera is on the fritz...doing some weird focusing shifts...most of my images are coming out fuzzy...With this camera at only 3200 ISO some stadium lights just aren't bright enough when I shoot over 1/400 shutter speed. (unless I break out the flash, which I never do)...my dream camera is one of these but too much $$$! Probably settle for D5300 at around 1K....

I usually keep the shutter speed around 1/1000 to 1/1250 but with that the ISO gets pretty high. Unfortunately, the lighting in small towns HS stadiums leaves much to be desired...Gonzales was bad...like shooting in a hole. I'm shooting the 5D III and my typical ISO is around 10,000 with very little noise. I love the camera body. I'm shooting a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for the games...it would be nice to have a f/2.0 Prime but pocketbook and the wife wouldn't like that too much. I have a 24-70mm f/2.8 that I use in close quarters in gyms and such. I have a great flash but it's more than useless on a football field.

yep I know...too much $$$...I could justify it if I still had my photog business going...But I'm just covering Burnet games for the Marble Falls paper these days just for fun.....Man, I have got to get a camera with that higher ISO rating!..Your pics are beautifully bright!!.....I'm barely surviving those dim stadium lights using ISO 3200 on that older Nikon!!...and the noise level sucks too!....FYI: I work in the machine vision industry...we have lots of toys...lenses, video cameras, etc......We just received a 40 megapixel video camera from a company for us to evaluate....We set it up on a tripod and pointed it at the north star for an all night video shoot...WOW!....the crap you can see is amazing!....Stars galore off in the distance......I'm wanting to take it home to see if a gnat's ass really does have hair!!!.....:D.....
