this is rematch of first round playoff game last year. Bellville came into that game favored to win and just got hammered by Gonzales. don't know what Gonzales lost player wise, but I am looking for this to be a good game. who you got? Bellville by 7

Not the same team the Brahmas played last year so Bellville rolls big in this one.

Bellville is on a roll right now and I don't see any slowing down. I am going to butcher the first name, but is Dedrick Graves for Bellville a Senior? I hope not! Why was (gonna butcher this one too) Kylan Mcdade not playing Friday night? I am hoping it's not what I think it might be, anyone know?

Good! I did better than I thought! That is great he is only a junior, he is going to be a great one.

I wasn't at the game but was listening in. I thought I heard the broadcast crew say he wasn't suited up, coupled with not hearing his name called I guess I assumed he wasn't playing. Glad I was wrong!

I hope they ALL get a little more size to them. We have been so small the last couple of years other than a couple guys here and there. Where are all the big guys from years past? My Junior year at 6'2", 225 lbs, I was 4th or 5th biggest guy on our defense. Thank god Rowe knows how to coach 'em up, they are small, but feisty. They are not afraid of contact and pursue the football very well...

Just one of the best OL in the state. Three or 4 of them I believe had started together on varsity, as freshman.

you right about that. just want name a few that fits what you are talking about, #9 Dylan Jackson 5'8 maybe 200lbs, #5 Mills Duncan maybe 6'0 185lbs, #8 Zack Ward maybe 5'10 165lbs, #55 Jabonowski (spelling is not right) maybe 5'10 165lbs. these are just a few that i hear their name called alot on defense, they are small but like you said they get after the ball.

They still have him but don't have the line they had last yr
so his numbers are way down. Just a junior. Bellville should
win by at least 14 points.

With a new O Line or not, I'm not gonna take Gonzales lightly until he's out of there. That kid can play. I don't think he can beat us by himself by any means, but I have a feeling he'll get his yards (hopefully not too many though).

I don't think y'all will be getting a win this week, but I do think #22 will play his usual solid game. Bellville's offense is getting rolling finally, and our defense is still playing lights out. Brahmas win 35-14.

Love the loyalty. But, not sure Gonsalez will even win a game this year. I don't see them winning a district game, so--this would be your only chance for a W. And, it will not happen here IMO. Long year for Apaches, after going so far last year. Amazing fall in a year's time.

Should you win a district game by chance, hell---might have a 1-9 team in the playoffs.

our defense has only givin up 43 pts so far this year, i think it will be hard for the Apaches to score more than 14. i think this will be a fine tune up for the Brahmas before distrist starts. Bellville by a bunch

I find it shocking that a team with an all state running back cannot find a way to get him the ball successfully.

He's getting it, the blocking just isn't there like in past 4 years. Plus, he is all they have, and teams are taking that threat out. And, zero depth, leads to a tired team after halftime. They play kinda good first few quarters.

Based on the few games that Ive been to this year, it was nice to finally see what Zapalac could do with time. Granted, Bay City is awful and couldnt generate much pressure. He connected on a few big throws and even had a TD dropped by Mr. Reliable.

Same here! I have been saying all along that he is good, and better than our QB's the last few years. All he needs is consistent opportunities and he could become a real threat for the Brahmas. I would love to see us go to the air 15-20 times a game, but I just don't see that happening unless absolutely necessary.

i agree Brady is a very good QB, and it was nice to see him have new faces to throw the ball to. #8 add a nice grab out in the flat and the touchdown to #15 was a perfect pass and catch also #25 had a great catch on the far sideline.
