Dominant performance by the Mustangs. Manor was able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, against a Navasota team the clearly had the size advantage. Manor took an early lead on a QB keep after A. Swain made a great catch a the Navasota 1 yard line.
Navasota threatened late in the second quarter but the Mustangs made 4 stops from the 1 yard line to keep Navasota off the scoreboard. I think that goal line stop took the wind out of the Rattlers as the never really threatened to score after that.
Manor came out firing in the second half with a quick strike to Swain for a score. Manor recovered the kick after the touchdown, but was unable to do anything with the ball. The Mustang Defense control the tempo of the game after that and Manor used a ball control running game (can you believe that!!!) to melt the rest of the time away.
This was the most complete game the Mustangs have played all year. GO MUSTANGS!!!!
