I was asked to provide AP vote for a local newspaper in regards to 4A-2A rankings (sports writer had 6A-5A covered).

My 4A poll went like this:

1. Navasota
2. WO-S
3. Argyle
4. Gilmer
5. Kennedale
6. La Grange
7. Stephenville
8. Graham
9. LaMarque
10. Hardin-Jefferson

Sorry but Argyle should be #1. They are the defending Champs and have already beat 3 top 20 teams.

IMO, there appears to be about 15 Top Ten teams that could be shuffled in any order and that would be okay with me at this juncture. Heck, there could be 20. Most have played 4 games, but some have played only 3. And starting next week, the bye weeks will start happening bigtime. I would say by Week 7 we could start separating the wheat from the chaff. But that will be only the start of what looks to be a very exciting season all the way into the playoffs. I'm guessing there will be some bigtime upsets this season in the playoffs, and the records will be deceiving.
