Argyle is dominating in yards, except for the Graham kickoff return of about 88 yds. Then Argyle's Rodgers throws into tight coverage from the 10 for an interception in the Graham end zone....not a recommended throw there. Graham has to feel good at this point with the score being all tied up at half. Argyle has made a couple of big mistakes...on in the kicking game and then that endzone pick right before half from the 10 yd. line.

Argyle will kick to Graham to start the 2nd half (assuming Graham wants us to kick it to them). This game is a fast-moving hard-hitting game that I cannot possibly keep up with typing the play by play. I'll just hafta hit the highlights in the 2nd half....I'm already worn out, lol.

Landry Turner takes a naked bootleg for a huge gain as everybody went left. Now Argyle can't get the players off the field, flags are down, but Nick Martin runs it right up the gut 50 yds. for Graham TD. Another big substitution mistake by Argyle that Graham takes a huge advantage of. They snapped the ball quickly when they saw the late substitution and nobody was in position. Martin went untouched right up the middle 50 yds. for the TD. The kick was no good.

Graham played a very tough game, was able to take advantage of some Argyle mistakes and keep the scoring tight, but was unable to stop the Argyle offense.

This Argyle team is very young and will only get better as the season progresses. They are not to be compared to last season's team and have their own identity they are trying to establish. They make some mistakes but are fighters to the end and know how to win. Cooper Rodgers is doing a great job at qb for the Eagles and continues to improve his passing abilities. Overall, it was just great physical football by the lines of Argyle and of course that helps big time on both sides of the ball.

Fair assessment throughout, must have a good broadcast team...Steers played hard, but depth is certainly an issue...better team wins again...congrats Eagles, very entertaining Friday night.

I wish I could have been there at the stadium. Must have been one heckuva ballgame for this early in the season. No doubt Graham will be there come playoff time...a serious contender. Argyle is looking better each week now as the younger players find their way into the Argyle schemes. Some of those starters(lots of them) are just sophs. They are just now getting used to the speed of the game at this level, so naturally they'll get burned and be outta position on some plays til they learn and play more.
