Ingleside punted to Aransas Pass. The AP return player tried to get away from the ball instead of catching it. He touched the ball trying to get out of the way. An Ingleside player grabbed the ball on the bounce and ran it in to the end zone. The refs ruled Ingleside's ball but spotted it at the point that the Ingleside player grabbed it. No touchdown. Am I behind the times on rules?

There were a whole bunch of us in the stands thinking the same way. I guess having a TD called back had some influence on our thinking.
