This actually should be a really good game start to finish..the Indian D is getting on track and the Offense is running and passing with efficiency..Brownwood looks to be improving in a lot of areas as well..great matchup for week 4 !!

The Indians did a little growing up last Friday night, if they continue to play inspired this should be a good game. We have a D-lineman back that's going to continue to improve and help this defense. Our rb's were a little banged up after Friday night, but they've looked good so far this week. It was. We let it closer than it needed to be by some heavy substituting in the last quarter to get some kids some reps in. Ya'll score on them, then kick on side, and new ball game. And we made some mental mistakes late in the game, as well as early in the game that didn't help. Either way, it was a tough game. Good luck to the Lions going forward.

Coach Dixon played and TA'd in that stadium for Howard Payne..should be a great atmosphere..The Indians have been going through some growing pains so far this year, but should be ready to put it all together this week and continue to get better every week from here on out! No, but he's more confident he can play hard without significant re injury. Had a good game against Brownwood. It has taken him a bit to get back into the Defensive end groove coming from linebacker. I know he and the Brownwood QB got to know each other during the game!

I'd say if Alvarado can pressure the QB and slow down the run, they can slow down the Lions offense and limit their scoring. That Howard kid is good, so can't give the QB time set up and dump it off to him. If Brownwood will give their QB some time, he is a pretty accurate passer and him teaming up with #8 may make for a long night for the Indians.

What makes you think so full circle? Just because Stidham is a Sr.? Stephenville starts 6 underclassmen on offense and defense this season. Some teams use the excuse "we're young this season... give us another year and we'll be good". Well, Stephenville is young in many areas this season. No excuses. Work with what you've got and develop the players to the best of their potential. It's the program not just the players. You build it, they will come.
