I'm just going to point out that:

Paris lost to Chapel Hill by 10 points (51-41)
Chapel Hill lost to Lindale (5A) by 4 points (21-17)
Van beat Lindale by 32 points (52-20)

Btw, Carthage beat Lindale by 9 points (22-13)

Van is a real threat this year in Region 2. So far they have scored 136 points and given up 34 points. To me they are a better overall team than the 2009 Van team that lost to state champ Prosper 21-7 in the regional final.

Tatum is gonna thrash Gladewater and i'm pretty sure they play in week 1 of district play. I have changed my mind and now think it will be Tatum.......Atlanta........Gladewater, in that order. The play in this district is getting better and i for one am glad to see it.

On edit.............thrash may be too harsh of a word. Gladewater can hang a little but I just don't think enough.

Tatum & Atlanta are both teams that on any given year could make a deep run. Both teams always have speed, even in down years. Gladewater proved last year they are capable as well. That is a strong district.
