EVENTHOUG THE DOGS WENT OUT ON A BAD CALL IN THA BACK OF THE ENDZONE IT WAS A GREAT YEAR. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERONE WHO SUPPORTED THA TEAM THROUGH THICK AND THIN .GOOD LUCK NEXT YEAR DOGS!!!

I am saddened that the Marlin Bulldogs are out of the playoffs. What a super team. They had to have met up with some stiff competition in Bellville. We thought Marlin would masacre them!

Marlin, you have the respect of the Burnet team and fans- you are right up there with the best in state in my eyes and in many others.

You have had a tremendous season. Hold your heads up high!

Marlinfan, I don't think I'd call it a bad call, but it certainly was a difficult call for the refs with both kids juggling the ball on the way down.

Don't diminish the accomplishments of your team by dwelling on this one play. It was a heck of a game by two well-coached teams. Both teams poured out their hearts on the field in a game with 3 OT's and very few penalties. And at the end the game, neither team can say they dominated the other in stats, hits, nor score.

I think each team earned the respect of the other.
