Liberty Hill vs. Brownwood

Been out of communicating range for a bit otherwise would have posted this sooner. The wood has been struggling but always comes to play. They will hang in there for a while but it won't be enough. LH defense gets stiffer this week and won't be giving up 47 points. Panthers take this one by 2 tds.

From what I've seen on tape with Brownwood against Graham and LH's game with LG I have to like Liberty Hill in this game. They have improved their ball handling and their offense is well oiled now. They will need to bring their defense tonight to contain that #8 who has great moves and good speed. Good luck to both teams and have a great injury free game tonight whoever wins.

Agree, which Brownwood team will show up is a great question. Brownwood has the talent to have a successful year, but there is a lot of internal issues going on currently. I think LH takes this one by 21 points. Brownwood isn't playing as a team just yet. That may change as the years progresses, we shall see.

We contained the Howard Kid last season, I think we can do it again. He is damn good, but I think we have some of the defensive kinks worked out. We basically shut down Brenham's run game last week (I saw a stat of 122 yards on the ground). Almost every score they had came from the pass to one kid. We didn't make necessary adjustments to eliminate this. What Bwood has going for them is that they know our offense. Have played against it several times, and won't be as lost as Brenham was against us.

Defensively I think brownwood will be fine. They usually get up for the liberty hill game. Offense is the big question and from what I can see they've been making some adjustments to hopefully be able to move the ball better

Thats a wonderful bunch of 8th graders, one of them is mine. I had the privilege of coaching many of them in Youth football, some since Kindergarten. They are an example of where talent, hard work, dedication, and discipline come together. 5 different kids from that group scored last night.
