I don't mean to get the youngins' riled up by talking about the ol' days but Coach Wood was quoted as saying that his 72/73 team had more talent than any he remembered coaching. That team did not get out of district. He stated that "he could never get them to play together". ( This was many years after his retirement and it shocked me to hear him say it)
I see talent on this team and even more waiting in the wings to come onboard. I just hope Coach Howard can find a way to "get them to play together"!

I agree 100%. Brownwood passes the eye test on size, speed and talent. If they could just gel, very strong team on the horizon.

You should know they're in the jungle, the mighty jungle where the Lion sleeps at night. Brownwood is currently going through the dark ages and it has been dark since 2010! The sunny days are on the horizon though. You have know idea what's coming!

The reason Coach Wood won championships. He didn't give a crap about who your dad was or who served on the board. He decided who stepped on the field. This problem is rampant in Brownwood.
