This should be a close game. China Spring has looked good early. You beat Lorena (which had a close game with Robinson the following week) & then play Connally very tight.

The Yoemen showed improvement from week 1 to week 2 and most certainly will look to take another step this week with a tough opponent coming to town. I think this game will probably be in the 30's or 40's both ways. Critical mistakes and long scoring plays will be something to keep an eye on here. I believe both teams will try to stay balanced, but this will test both secondaries.

Stadium is 50% complete. New visitor stands and turf. Home stands an re-worked entry coming after the season.

Parking was awful; one entrance, one exit for visitors; like a cattle chute; no signage to help visitors find the entrance. I think construction on some of their school blds is still ongoin, so the parking situation is excusable, but it would have been helpful if there had been some folks directing traffic and also to help direct visitors to the gate.

Rabid was in Hillsboro calling the Hillsboro vs Kemp game... Mrs Rabid and Rabid Aggie were sitting on the China Spring side. Rabid's parents was sitting on the Home side.

First win the new Yoe Field goes to the Cougar Blue... I know nothing of the game except the Cougars win!

I sat in the rain and watched this game. With 6 min left it was 23-0. CS defense really looked good. When Yoe woke up and decided to play Yoe ball it was too late.
