The Battlin' Billies are riding high with QB Grona & company. After last year's loss to Burnet, they'll be coming in for revenge. Burnet going through some adversity with the loss of 4 defensive players a couple of weeks ago (two of them out for the year). To make matters worse, another defensive player never came out for the second half of last night's game. Dang!....So, if I can turn a negative into a positive at least there's a lot of young ones who are getting valuable playing time. They're gonna have to grow up fast! Just hoping to spray a little RAID on this injury bug before district play rolls around...Burnet will bounce back....always does...

A fractured foot is serious business. He will need a minimum of 6 weeks to heal. It was a fractured foot that never healed right that shortened the career of Bill Walton.

Crap!....so now that makes 5 defensive players out!.....What gives with all the injuries in Burnet?....maybe we need to hire a yoga instructor, a nutritionist, a physical therapist, a massage therapist, and a psychic!!.....no matter, the Bulldogs will find a way and pull it off on Friday....them Billies never beat us!!!....

No, he came back on Friday and was ferocious as usual....Not sure, but I think he's got one of those injuries that he's gonna have to play with for the rest of the season....tough kid!...

Going to the game Friday, looking for a good, hard fought game. Any more news on Burnet's injury problem on defense? Also, how is Brock's ankle? Saw him limp off at the end of the Wiley game. I hope he is ok.

I really don't know if any will be back this week....maybe Greendawg can shed some light....Not sure on Brock....I noticed he was hobbling around too...If he is healthy, Burnet needs to get the ball into his hands!!..He's off to a slow start after scoring 19 TD's last year.....He is too fast not to utilize IMO......

As far as I know Foster is fine . Cullen has a severe turf toe , dont think he will play this week but should be back for next weeks game . This will put #44 at LB in Cullen's spot .

Burnet even got the O-Line in on the scoring with a nice 10 yard pass from Austin Moore to OT Jarrett Thornley. Burnet also picked Grona 2 times and returned them for TD's...Nice job by Darius Johnson whose pick 6 went for 18 yards and Trent Rockafellow whose pick 6 went for 42 yards. Great turn around by the Bulldawgs after tough loss to Wylie last week. I think a lot of people had the Billies taking this one...it just seems year after year the Bulldawgs have their number. Hope remainder of the season for the Billies is a good one. Proud of our Dawgs on the way they bounced back. Homecoming next week!!!

I saw the KUVE TV truck at the game but Matt Mitchell said they called the game with 2:00 minutes left in the game. False reporting - the game was over for Fred but Burnet took a knee 3x to run out the clock. It looked like the bulldog field in the back ground but Matt must have been in studio with nice prob behind him.
