They got a great list but there should have been some others included such as 1960's The Magnificent 7 with Yul Brynner and Steve McQueen, 1953's Shane with Alan Ladd, 1943's The Ox Bow Incident with Henry Fonda, and of course Dawn at Socorro with Rory Calhoun and Alex Nicol.

Strange that not included were 2 westerns that actually won best picture Oscars. They were 1931's Cimarron and 1990's Dances with Wolves.
