Thoughts? Calhoun lit up Somerset last week for 60.

Going to be a great game but I would have to go with Calhoun. The margin of victory will probably be within 10 points.

LV will need to eliminate the fumbles and penalties that were problems last week. Calhoun can wear you down, so the defense needs to not be on the field any longer than necessary. LV's defense looked really strong last week, but turnovers and drive-killing penalties have the potential to put the D in some not-so-good situations.

Talking with Bo, he wants this one badly. I think he get's it done. When he's determine he is about the best in game planning and getting the teams best out of them. I see a low scoring affair. Like 21-20. That's considered low scoring in a Calhoun game.

This is a tough one to figure but I guess I'll go with the Crabs in a close one. They need to win all they can before district starts cause those will be hard to come by, now that they are back in region three.

Agreed. Calhoun is going to have a tough time in Region 3 including mention their district.

Wow, this one wasn't quite what we thought it would be. Count me as pleasantly surprised. Region 4 GOW next week in La Grange.

Wow, this one wasn't quite what we thought it would be. Count me as pleasantly surprised. Region 4 GOW next week in La Grange.

Great victory for La Vernia going into Leopard country next week. The Leps handled Columbus after a shaky first half to get the win 29-6. The Leps will have their hands full against this powerful Bear offense. The Bears are the top team to beat in DI Region 4 right now.

So, Calhoun scored 60 last week against Somerset, and I think they expected to do pretty near the same this week.
They've hung over 50 on LV the last two years.

Shocking!one of your coaches I know told me early august their team was going to be stout on defense and the offense could be also later in the season. Looks like offense is starting to move that direction also.

lol PLC fan had them contenders for region title in 5a because they score a lot of point on their defense. Somerset hasn't been past the 2nd round in a long time in 3a and he had them in region final in new 5a :)

Somerset should make the playoffs though in 5a district their in.

We played them in the 2nd round in 2012.

They were undefeated.

We could have beat them 70-0.
