Week 2: Ingleside @ Beeville

Ingleside wins their opener against RGC 41-14. Beeville wins their opener against Kingsville in OT 24-21. I would like to see Ingleside become more balanced as the season goes along, but he ran a lot against RGC. The kid has wheels and hopefully in a couple more weeks he can become a true duel threat. He doesn't have huge arm strength, but he got the passes where they needed to be against RGC. Beeville could very well be a playoff team this year so I am expecting a hard fought game.

Ingelside to much for a young Beeville team. Good first win for Coach Mitchell but this one will be a tough one for Beeville. At least 21 points.

Ingleside is NOT a running team, Hesseltine is trying to run that Auburn offense and its not going to work unless we throw the ball more....the line in Ingleside is probably the biggest its been since he's been there, and I think that has a lot to do with what he's trying to do on offense that and the fact that Jalen is a so good with his feet. the problem is Jalen needs to work on his passing game as any new QB would, once that becomes a threat he could be very good....Jalen has a strong arm and right now he's over throwing receivers and that could be a problem down the road. that being said Ingleside in a close hard fought game at this point I might change my mind closer to Friday.

Several of the big pass plays were under thrown but caught in the game against RGC. If what you say is true, then his accuracy just needs some work.

True. It is one of the biggest lines the Mustangs have had in years and there were 2 of the biggest on the sidelines on crutches. I hope they are not out for the year. Beeville will not be a pushover so we need everything we got.
