It appears the Ville is once again the big boys on the block, congrats on the win. My Dawgs got it handed to them by a decent but not great 5A school. The 11 new guys on the offensive side of the ball made many mistakes and left the defense with short field all night. Heck the Dawgs even fumbled going into the end zone in the first quarter and a 6ft 4 defensive end ran it back for a TD. It did not get any better from there. Coach S will have to work his magic this year. Good luck the rest of the year to the Ville.

This is the reason everybody hasn't heard me and CC doing a whole bunch of mouthing. No knock on Hallsville but they are a 5-5 5a team who will be battling for a 4th place playoff spot. We are not a very good football team right now. Undisciplined. Not typical of a Scott Surratt coached football team. It's a long season and like always we will get better as the season progresses, but I don't know if we have a very high ceiling. We will see. Sky is not falling in Carthage yet :smoker:. But a couple more performances like that and it will have to be called a full on rebuild for the first time in 7 years. "In Surratt we trust". Keep your head up Dawgs!

Wow, I expected this one to be a blowout.

From what I heard is Bellville isn't the Bellville of old. They are gunna have a tough year. Buddy from Caldwell said the Brahmas are small and do not have the speed of years past. You Bramhas are going to find out this year just what kind of coach y'all have in Row.

Did the weather affect the outcome.

weather was not the problem. the offense was the problem, they would move ball pretty good then a fumble think we had seven and lost six of them. the defense was on the field most of the night and they played very strong. Rowe is going to have to find some kids that can catch the ball when it thrown to them, he has them on the team he just has to put them on the offensive side of the ball every now and then, think we only had one catch last night.

Just leave 'em alone for the next four weeks...we will work the magic for Surratt

We had 3 fumbles and 1 pick last night in our game. We don't have much size either but we do have speed on defense. We dropped the Slot T and moved back to the Spread.
