Sound likes Ingleside had an ok scrimmage with Alice then a bad scrimmage against Taft. Depth is going to play a factor in this game with RGC being 5A. Anyone have an idea about how this game might play out?

Ingelside wins. Them bigger schools way down there might have the numbers, but--they're just wearing a uni. 34-7 opening win. Just come out healthy here.

I hope you are right. I'll be happy with any win at this point. Ingleside 14+

if Ingleside can get their wrinkles worked out I think we will be fine, although I expect us to struggles early in the season.

Do you know if Gross is Qb?

Looks like Mustangs have a good group of kids this season also. Some speed on this team.

Gross is the starting QB. Kind of odd watching a QB that runs more than throws, but he is doing very well.

Good win for the Stangs. Way to start the season with a blow out victory.

I wasn't overly impressed with the Mustangs victory, there is obviously a lot of work to be done.... The offense needs a lot of work, Ingleside always has a fun and explosive offense mostly balanced but last night was more run heavy and predictable at times, definitely something they need to wk on..... The defense needs work as well, to many completed passes were given up. Ingleside has playmakers and that will help them through most games, I have no doubt that once district starts we will be ready.

I would have to agree with you. It was different watching a run first type of play calling especially with the QB. I hope they work more on the passing because RGC made some adjustments in the second half and Ingleside's offesnse became a non-factor. The defense IMO played well. The RGC QB had some speed and his short passes were accurate. Since they were playing the WR's soft that was to be expected. It was a better start than what I was expecting based on the scrimmage details given.
