Got our gas leak fixed today by Big State Plumbing out of Bay City and got a $400 price repair shock when we got our bill. This will be the second time in the past few years we had a leak on the fixture on the back of our house. It was caused by the shifting of the soil next to our foundation. The guy used a different kind of connection Polyethylene that will last longer instead of PVC which is no longer used. A permanent solution would cost almost $4,000 by putting in a new line which would be closer to our house.
