Its' called Sirius-XM now since Sirius bought out XM-They carried some Big 12 football games last year
My wife has it in her 2010 Honda Civic external Roady where you run a wire to the DC to the adapted and the cable to an external adapter you put on the roof of your car-She just listens to the 60s channel.
I discontinued mine two years ago when I traded in my 2013 Honda Civic
They have a tons of channels for just about all music genres, sports talk, shows as well, comedy, mystery, religious and even and RFD.

Anybody have it? Is it worth $15 a month?Every year before my expiration date I call and cancel my subscription. Every year for the past 5 years they have given it to me for half price. I pay about $90 per year but I have to pay up front.

Mrs. Buckeye has it & well as myself (gave it to me when I retired 4 years ago). I am not sure when I have listened to regular radio last...it was last year on the on a local station after the ball games so I could get the scores on my way home.
One of those expenses that are "safe" from the cut-back

Let me know how it is.....I listen to 105.3 the Fan usually when I'm in the car, but when I go out or can't pick up the Fan I pay $10 a month for Spotify. Any song that's on iTunes is available and there are no commercials and you can build your own playlists.

I'd just use my iPod for that? The thing I like about xm is that it's constantly playing songs I've never heard so I'm getting a lot of new music. To create a playlist on spotify, you have to first know all the songs.

True that, that I suppose is my issue. I don't listen to music on the radio very often at all. Are the music stations on XM commercial free?

I mean I've had it less than 24 hrs, but yeah, seems to be commercial free. Sometimes the host is talking about whatever, but there's usually at least 1 channel playing a good song at any given time for each genre

I like it a lot so far

We had it and loved. Be careful, however, of shady business practices. They will work like a dog to get you subscribed, then when your time to expire is nearing, no warning, no mail, no emails, then ...BOOM. Hit you with a 300 plus dollar charge for another year. Yep - its in the fine print, so you absolutely must cancel before it expires or you will be charged. Problem is, after a year or so, its hard to recall when you subscribed. I'm on leave from them for now because they pissed me off due to these shady practices, but will be back cause terrestrial radio sucks.

Good to have if you make a lot of long trips. In addition to the music which is mostly commercial free you have a ton of different sports channels available along with Fox news, CNN, HLN ect. For old timers there is the Radio Classic channel which plays old 40's and 50's shows like Dragnet and others.
I was on a 6 hour drive out of State Saturday and listened to HLN which was playing the 30 minute Murder mystery shows. Made the trip seem quicker.

90s on 9 and Pop2K if you are into that kind of stuff. On Pop2K they'll run the top 40 from random weeks in the 2000s.

The comedy channel can be funny some days, you can set up a preset for I think 10 stations

Saggie, he's extremely funny. Very vulgar. You will either love the show or hate it.

Some of the DJs on certain stations chatter too much instead of playing music.
