View Full Version : Lorena vs Cameron Scrimmage Moved To UMHB Stadium

Due to construction at both schools, the Lorena/Cameron scrimmage scheduled for Aug 16th was moved to University of Mary-Hardin in Belton. Varsity begins at 9:00 am and JV and Freshman at 10:30.

UMHB is a great facility. Lorena & Cameron both played there last year in the playoffs, and it's just a great setting for high school football.

I'm looking forward to this scrimmage. Both lose really good talent from 2013, but there is talent coming up, so it will be good to get an early look at both of these teams. I will be keeping a close eye on both QB's.

Well, more than likely there won't be any food up there so I'll pass, ha. I'm assuming both teams will just be on the home side. I'll be on the lookout for you.

Around 10k. Most of the seating is on the home side, which makes sense for the university. Now, it is great for smaller schools earlier in the playoffs. When Cameron & Troy played there in the regional semifinal, Cameron had the visiting side....but they also had half of the upper deck on the home side.

The scrimmage has been moved again. It will now be played at La Vega. Same times.

Cameron Yoe 1st team & Lorena 2nd team each had a drive stall at the 1 (last play).
