They had a sports story on one of the Houston TV channels with a coach from Houston Scarborough where he said that they have the longest active losing streak in the state at 37 games if I'm not mistaken.
Please make any corrections If I'm wrong on this

He's a teacher as well and they featured him buying school supplies with his own money at a store in Houston

47 game losing streak

And in a 4 team district so history in the making if they don't win a game and still make the playoffs with only 4 teams in their district.

Gives new meaning to those who thought too many were getting into the playoffs. I guess everyone remembers their coach (after winning district) saying the slate is clean...your starting over undefeated!

They have Huntington on their schedule this season. That's a pretty decent shot at a win.

Yep... their last win was September 10th, 2009 against Houston Austin 18-12 when the current incoming seniors were in 7th grade. Lost 47 consecutive since then.

Starting from the 3rd game of the season 2012 they have lost:
0-44 Stafford
0-56 Kashmere
0-77 Yates
0-63 Sterling
0-60 Jones
0-50 Worthing
0-70 Furr
0-40 Washington

2013
6-31 Houston Lee
0-71 Wharton
0-53 Stafford
0-72 Kashmere
0-70 Yates
0-29 Sterling
0-38 Jones
0-55 Worthing
0-68 Furr
14-40 Washington

That's 20 points scored, 1159 points against being shutout 16 out of the past 18 games.

More than likely they will face WO-S in Bi-District this Fall barring a huge win by Scarborough or a huge upset of WO-S.

They need to call this one in now.

Give 'em a game against Brownsville Porter or Brownsville Pace. Both of them are pretty darn terrible too.

I think Greenville has lost 40 in a row, so they aren't to far behind.

That's a sad situation for a possible 0-10 team to make playoffs . Great job UIL
I can remember when one team made playoffs and some great 9-1 teams stayed home.
I ok with 3 teams because some 3rd place teams have won state.

I remember East Bernard missed the playoffs back in 1965 with a 3-0-1 district record after battling Tidehaven to a scoreless tie and the Tigers advanced on penetrations.
