Garry Kasparov lost to the machine X3D Fritz in Game 2. :( The experts said he had an even game but made a bad blunder that lost it for him. This puts the score at 1 1/2 to 1/2 in favor of the machine with two games left on Sunday and Tuesday on ESPN 2. Garry will have the advantage of being white in the next game and having the first move but all the machine has to do is play for a draw in the next two games and win the match. Garry has to win both games to win the match. If the computer just loses one game and draws one then the match is still a draw. One more win by the computer and it is over. It doesn't look good for Garry but he has overcome this type of adversity before. We will see.
