Taylor Jo Baize was born at 9:51 pm on Tuesday the 22nd weighing 7lbs 4 oz and 20 in long. Both the baby and mother are doing fantastic even after a 21 hour labor. My daughter is the prettiest thing my eyes have ever seen. Love at first sight is real. I would post a pic but I do t know how. I'll try and get p4s to help me out;)

Congratulations, coach! There's nothing that hits a man harder than when he holds his baby for the first time. My mother-in-law took a picture of me the first time I brought my first baby daughter out. The expression on my face said it all. 21-hour labor? Ouch!

When our first was born, we were told the due date would be late May or early June. On April 26 (at least two months before the earliest due date) my wife had a checkup with her Ob/Gyn and was questioned why she was there as she was already in labor. She proceeded to the hospital after calling me and gave birth about 4 hours later to a healthy full-term girl. Needless to say, we were VERY surprised as my wife never had even one labor pain. That may sound great, however when she was pregnant with the second we were scared she would go into labor and we would not know until too late. The doctor just picked a time when he thought she was ready and induced labor. Again, no labor pains!

My wife's last words before going into the delivery room came when the nurse asked what she would like done with her clothes. " Burn them" was her reply.

Mine had an evil look in her eye and she meant it. That was the only kid I had with her. LOL
