just wondering if anyone can recommend nice malls or shopping areas in Arlington. I will be in area for job related meetings and my wife and 18 month old daughter will have time to kill during the day.

thanks in advance

The Parks Mall off I-20 and Cooper is about as good as you will find in Arlington. Huge place.

Lots of restaurants as well depending on your preference. From Bone Daddy's , Pluckers, to Salt Grass and even a Texas roadhouse I believe as well as many others. You wont go hungry lol

I would go to NE Mall in Hurst. Not far of a drive and quite a bit nicer, IMO.

There is a outdoor/outlet mall just east of 360 that has fancier stores. May not want to let your wife free there though - http://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp?id=106

and if you want to venture north some go to Nizza Pizza for lunch/dinner.

First off stay away from the Parks Mall unless you like being surrounded by an endless array of teenagers. I believe you and your family will enjoy the highlands which is one exit from the parks mall on Matlock. Plenty of places to shop and eat. Do you know what area in Arlington you will be in?
