4A DI/DII Region IV - District Playoff Picks - VOTE HERE

I am setting up these threads to open up fan voting for the districts in region IV (DI & DII). Post below, in order, who you think will make the playoffs out of each district.

1st place = 4 points
2nd place = 3 points
3rd place = 2 points
4th place = 1 point

All of the voting will be added and then posted, just like top 25 and regional top 10's have been constructed in the past. Voting will go through the end of July. Regional polls will go up at the beginning of August.

Is those 8-8 returners like those a few years back in returning is the question? I think them other teams have returners too. Other than Navarro, 2-4 can be flipped upside down in standings IMO. Had to rank them somehow. I nailed WT last year in forecasting. Gotta prove it, before believing.

According to TF Sinton has 6 offensive and 8 defensive starters
Back. QB will be his 4th yr as starter and is outstanding is back. They will be tough again. I picked them first in dist. Tough dist. TF has this dist picked as toughest in 4a d2.

Last year's district was no creme puff either. Should have us prepared for this new district. So, hopefully Yoakum will remember each Friday come this fall, they better bring their "A" game. Should be an exciting race. Can't sustain them non-district booboo's like last year.

District is gonna be tough for sure!!!just having Ethan Owens and Colton Cohea in the backfield for a whole season provides some dangerous ball carriers. Offensive line learns fast which I think they will, very good offensive line coach and staff will have them ready from the start. A lot of inexperience wide receivers last season and return I think 7 from last season bunch that saw action so look forward for passing game to be much improved with less drop passes. Defense returns 8 and not sure how aggressive they'll have them early but good defensive team from line, linebacker, defensive backs and backups. Kicking game is where Sinton needs to improve a lot hopefully they will this season.

Sinton is very talented and has one of the state's best QB back to guide them. Real contender to make it to state IMO. Surviving one of the state's toughest districts healthy will be the key. As will be the case for all playoff teams out of D15-4A, DII.

I expect CS to be tough...they always are even on down years!!....I still remember the last playoff game vs Burnet when my boy was a soph. (2009?), it was a crazy cold and windy night. One of them plastic light panes broke off the press box and flew near some Burnet fans!....Luckily no one was hit...that was almost disastrous!...Also remember opening kickoff. I was on the sidelines aiming my camera at the CS runner...all I heard was a loud pop to my left!..Looked back around the 40 and two boys were on the ground....Turns out soph. Nick Jung, who was already developing a reputation for his hard hits, was challenged head on by a CS player...It was scary...Nick got up but didn't know where he was...the CS player's hands were trembling...he was out cold...he was eventually helped off the field.....Never saw either player back in the game and I've always wondered what happened to the CS player.....CS kicked Burnet's arse that miserable night!...WE OWE YA'LL ONE!!:foul:

That RB was Bubba Richards....not sure what happened to him...I think he joined the military....good kid...came over to the house once with a few other boys....he was pretty quiet...I think that was my boys sophomore year....I know he was there...I think he was moved up to play on the kickoff team but I don't remember exactly....I gots me partheimers disease......

Both teams are in Region 4 now thanks to UIL realignment. Teams 150
miles south of China Spring are in Region 3. Hard to figure out.?
